Face makeup is great ! It gives you the opportunity to look like a better version of yourself.

But, I’ve only tried a few brand and if you have found the best face makeup remover for sensitive skin – any brand is the best.

I’m probably one of the most fussy people in the world about my makeup removers, I’ll only use oil and witch hazel. That’s all I’ll try, anything else and I’ll go back to using soap for my face. Something about acne-prone skin and foaming face wash.

I’m not a perfume fan either, so a fragrance free product is a must.

My skin isn’t sensitive, but I’m lucky enough to find a product that suits my skin wonderfully. That’s all I’m fussing about.

These facial removers will get all your makeup off easily, without all that oily moisturizing feel.

The Cetaphil Waterproof Makeup Remover is a gentle, non-oily, no-drip gel (which is another great feature for sensitive skin) that removes even the toughest makeup without stripping your skin and causing it to overproduce oil to compensate for the dryness.

I love getting off my makeup before I go to bed, especially if I’m wearing a lot of eyeshadow on my lids and foundation on my face so that I can wake up without any residue left over. Before you buy a new kitchen or some other big-ticket item, find out if it is covered by a warranty. Some businesses will even offer you bundles that include a warranty, as well as other extras. You can also always compare the various types of warranties.

Buying additional coverage can always be helpful if you decide you want or need additional protections.

Always make sure that you read the fine print before you buy, as some businesses or manufacturers sell products with limited guarantees. This can lead to a lot of frustration and compromised results for you if you are not careful.

If you want a cruelty-free, hypoallergenic makeup remover that also smells (and feels) delicious, this is the one to get. The main ingredients in this cleanser are water and aloe. The aloe’s soothing properties make this a good choice for sensitive skin.

This formula creates a froth for easy application that rinses off easily. There’s no greasy residue, making it a great option to cleanse your face even right before bed (but it’s not so great for taking off mascara).

At such a great price, you can afford to keep a bottle for every spot in your house. If you’re traveling, you’ll be able to keep one in your bag, too.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the best face makeup remover?

Always wash your face before you go to bed. If you want something in addition to cleanse your face while you are sleeping, you can apply a night cream and then wash your face in the morning. Always always always!

What removes makeup from face?

There are a few things you can use to remove eye makeup. Many people use baby oil, olive oil, mouthwash, and other interesting tips. While you might think that it wouldn’t be a big deal, this is actually a serious consideration to take into account. The chemicals used in makeup are harsh and may have side effects when applied to your delicate eye area.

The ingredients used in eye makeup vary in ingredient concentration. One of the most popular active ingredients in eye makeup is a chemical called phenoxyethanol. This chemical is often in eye makeup products to prevent the growth of bacteria in the product. This chemical is also widely used in other personal care items, such as lotions and creams. Because of this, you may be already familiar with its “soap and water clean” scent. It also has another side effect to consider when using it on your face: chemical sensitivities.

What makeup remover should I use?

For the face, my favorite is the Makeup Remover Wipes from Simple.

They are super gentle and just plain awesome for removing makeup.

I also love the Acure Clarifying Facial Cleanser and the Juice Beauty Green Apple Cleansing Gel.

Julep also makes some awesome face makeup wipes.

What is the best eye make up remover?

A while back, I would have said a heavy-duty oil based makeup remover, such as coconut oil. While this still may be the ideal choice, I have also found some eye makeup removers that actually work quite well.

I started using Bare Minerals BB Cream, which I normally apply with my fingers, and I noticed that it wasn’t immediately coming off when I was taking it off. So much for water-based makeup remover removing the water-resistant stuff…

Then I realized that it wasn’t just my BB Cream that was holding on…It was my eye makeup, which was coming off slow and even. I couldn’t believe it! I have been using the Bare Minerals cleanser, which is actually a cleanser, for a couple of years now and have not been at all happy about it’s inability to remove all my makeup.

Conclusion

Choosing a good face makeup remover really is important – so important, in fact, that we decided to compile this list of the best makeup removers for every budget and lifestyle. We receive tons of emails from Rewire readers who want to ask us what they should be using to remove that makeup, so we hope this clears any confusion or anxiety. We want you to be able to get started with makeup right away—test to see what works for you, then stick with it and take good care of your skin.
